Im not like the best redstone person and I know theres a lot of potential in it. So I just need a very experienced redstone builder to like help me understand it better and make more advanced stuff. My gamertag is MisterTacos777. Just send me a message if you want to help.
I only know about repeaters delaying and increasing power range, going through blocks.
And what the switches do.
And currently learning more about torches letting you go straight up with a red stone current.
I assume your about the same?

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
I suggest looking up redstone logic gates to start.
When messing around with these logic gates, pay attention to how the redstone "power" affects the blocks around it. Then try making your own versions of the gates on your own.
EDIT: I have a redstone tutorial world I'm very slowly working on that might help someone like you, unless you're able to find someone else to help beforehand.

I guess I would say I know almost everything basic and Ive done a few complicated systems with the wikis help but Im looking to have like someone show and build examples with me of the complicated stuff.
^^^ Pretty much this, if you're looking for specific help.
If you just want a better understanding in general, I know of a couple excellent videos to start with. You shouldn't even be thinking about anything advanced at this point. If you want to work your way towards advanced redstone, while maintaining a grasp on how and why it all works, you're looking at a few months of self-education, plus a lot of trial and error.
