What I don't understand is why the game doesn't make them drown. That would be the fix, make them drown and have a new animal spawn. That way there's a chance that since Animals don't de-spawn, that an animal you don't know of will drown itself and then increase the animals in the area you live.

I need to give out more reputation. I'm not used to the system, but I see so many helpful posts. D: Sorry if I forget you!
I've actually resorted to that. But I guess the main issue is that my world in particular...there aren't really "shallow" areas. My ocean is filled with deep chasms. If I kill an animal with the wolves and they knock it around, I'll more than likely lose the items I farm from them because they go too deep for me to get to. It's kind of cool though because the "island" I'm stationed on currently has a HUGE mine beneath it. If you look outside in the ocean, you can see an opening to the mine since the ocean makes a waterfall in one of the caves.
That and moving around in the water takes so long. I've tried a boat, but I guess I fail at that since it likes to disappear. So getting to and from shore when your pigs/cows/sheep have swam out to the middle of nowhere is tiring. That and I try to collect their stuff because I view it as a waste just to kill them.
I actually have multiple pens around. But when I kill off the animals in the pens, there aren't many left on land because they keep migrating to the sea. I swear, they want to become octopus or something.
That'd actually be a really good fix. Either make it to where their behavior only allows them to wade in shallow areas (where they can get on land easily), or drown if they go out too far.
Its because of the bug.The bug is 4J STUDIOS Takes Versions from pc and make em compatible for xbox thats fine n all but in the bug fix they forgot to change everything in the world limit so animals spawn at the edge of the map (sometimes in ocean) because they were going to spawn over there but cant.

I can't complain. Even though 97% of my animals are swimming in the ocean currently, at least I have animals now. It makes it REALLY hard to collect wool when it sinks to the very bottom of my map, but 4J did give me exactly what I asked for.
I did manage to capture 2 of everything within fences, so the rest of the animals can swim all they want. I'm ready for the breeding update.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
