After the 1.8.2 update, my world did not work. I tried playing offline, but it didn't help. I've waiting until this last update to finally be able to play it, and it STILL does not work. I didn't do anything to my world to corrupt it; it was right after the update. I've put a ton of work into this map, I don't want to lose it.
Sigh. I'm so sorry for you bud, but I think your save may be corrupted and there is no fixing that. I too try not to do anything that might "break" my game, but even if your a very good boy, your world may corrupt on its own.
Dude i'm totally with you, minecraftforum used to very helpful, now it's a bunch of people who add nothing to the forum but spam.
Also here are some tips;
Your best option for this not to happen again is backups. You can buy a cheap usb drive, and format for your xbox, then copy your world file over evey so often. So if does corrupt, you have a fairly recent backup. Trust me this is a very good idea. I had to learn this lesson the hard way.
