Not going to happen. PC maps can't go to x-box even with a USB, and on top of that if you did j-tag it some how, then you'd need a buttload of plugins. Not in the mood to wait a few months for 1.5 so you guys can have PC maps. I regret even buying minecraft for the x-box.

OP: Like others have said, it is possible to download and play maps. I won't tell you how, not because of ToS, but because of forum rules. I respect the people here at MCF, Microsoft can slobber my dingus. If you wait long enough, I'm sure 4J will implement a world sharing system of some sort. They're probably waiting on Anvil format before they do anything like this.
For one, new terrain generation. Also, optimized chunk rendering and file storage. It basically means blocks won't have such a heavy impact on the hardware in general.
Smaller files would obviously be easier on a file-hosting server. Plus it would avoid the bugs everyone would be complaining about after downloading a beta 1.8.2 world and playing it on a 1.2.3 Minecraft. This is just speculation of course, but it seems logical.
i would like to see something like what halo has with forge.... have a MC edit type program, idc make it a separate charge to be able to use it, let people have full ability to make the map, full movement, spawn structures, save building and build them on command, place swawners, basically do anything they want to the map, this way people can build adventure maps and post them for other people to download. we can vote on the maps, read descriptions, let the maker decide what difficulty can be played on his map
then add 2 new game types, survival player made, or creative player made...
it would be good if we could share our world because my parkour and ADV. maps could be public

I would Love SURVIVAL match makeing and it would be fun to host more than 8 ppl in one world I also think it.would be fun to have survival map sharing like if I'm not online you can still log.on.and do work in the world you know?
i assume they would have open servers and we could just join. probably have to pay. or maby not.there will be rules in the server and if we doesnt abide by them we may be kicked.so on and so on
i think if the map could be locked, I.E no blocks can be edited and the map designer had his name to it then i would like to see map sharing,
would hate to think of someone DL'ing my map just to destroy it all or pass it off as theres
think also if the map is locked im guessing it could be rendered differently so its easier on the system ??
that would be splendid if they did it like that. as i would have to leave signs in each of my maps saying whos map it is and stuff.

Thats what the find player section is for on this forum...... as for sharing..... thats an iffy subject for 4j and would most likely get lock for redudancy........ and last i heard (from my boy on the inside) 4j was looking into renting severs from some place in europe (I wasn't paying attention during the q&a)
They need to add the option to reset the map, what I mean is that the map reverts back to it's last save, but it keeps all the players on the server. This would be great for games like spleef or games that need to be reset.

you can download worlds on the PC for minecraft
Why not on the 360?
i would like to see a full multiplier for minecraft 360, with matchmaking, games like the hunger games and free-build
and of-course the ability to post your worlds for people to download and play, that way people can build challenge worlds
