I checked the update and it seems 4J brought forward the collision fix to the fences, so they have nearly the same collision area as iron bars and glass panes now. I don't remember which update fixed the fences in the PC but I'm glad it's here on the 360 version now so I don't have to worry about the fences crowding my walk-space.
Huh? . . . I'm lost. Do you mean you can make a 'walkway' that is 3 blocks wide, with fences running down each side, and you're not limited to walking purely on the middle block?

Actually that would in a sense make it 2 blocks wide since the fence is centered on the block it is placed. Therefore what you are saying making a 3 block path with fences along the outside 2 blocks of the 3 path would essentially make it 2 blocks wide, and on the other side of the fence it would be 1/2 block added to the space on that side. The collision would still be there, as you can not walk through them, it is just reduced to the fine line to make possible the 2 block width I mentioned.

You sir, have just confused me even more. LOL .
I was baffled about what the OP said, that was before I had a blonde moment and realised that "hey, there's been an update released". Anyhow, you just confused me more. IF you place a fence down, CAN you stand on the same block, or are you still blocked? IF you are NOT blocked, then IF you make a three wide path with fences (Fence, space, Fence), you can walk on more than the 'space'? ? ?
yes. like I said it adds half a block of space. which means you will be able to stand next to the fence. however you will not be able to go through the fence. So it will add more walking room. so add 1/2 +1/2 blocks = 1 block more space. Hence me saying you will have 2 blocks space when moving around in that setup...lol
I hope that is a bit more understandable. Not too great at explaining things, but I do my best....:D
