Harvested all the sugar cane I could find on the map...made a bunch of bookshelfs in the beginning . Now I lost my map and can't find and sugar cane in my world...What can I do? Call me a sob, but I think I maybe be screwed fellas! Also where do I find:
Golden apples
Slime
Pumpkins
Chupocabra
Okay, if you really search you may find some more sugarcane, but if you don't, that is the end of your sugarcane. Golden apples are very rarely found in dungeon chest or in later updates, you can craft them. Slimes are found about 4 or 5 blocks above bedrock and are pretty rare. Pumpkins can be found anywhere in your world or you can go in an abandoned mineshaft and hopefully get some in a chest.
As for Chupocabra, I don't know what that is. Do you mean make gold ingots back into gold ore? Because if so, you cannot. Creeper CAN blow up dynamite.
Edit: The chance of finding a golden apple in a dungeon chest is 0.8%.
Also, El Chupacabra doesn't exist in this game, neither does diorite. There's only one kind of stone in Minecraft, and it's simply called stone. I'm guessing you were referring to bedrock, which can't be destroyed by anything, not even a creeper. Glowstone dust can be crafted into blocks using the crafting interface.
I do hope I'm answering a "real" thread here, and not making myself look foolish. x_x
Kind of short sighted of you to harvest it all and not replant any of it (smacks of what happened on Easter Island centuries ago - moral of the story is "never cut down the last tree").
I always leave the bottom section of the sugarcane so that it continually regrows in it's original spot. That way I can find it again if I have to (e.g. if a creeper blows up my sugarcane farm). In addition to starting a sugarcane farm with what I collect, I'll also plant some around the edges of whatever water body is close by if I'm planning a project in that area that will require bookshelves. It grows very quickly and I don't have to worry about running out (or having to travel all over the map to get it).
If you have used it all up, you can bring some into your world by using creative mode. This will deactivate the leaderboards and achievements for that world. However, you will then also be able to craft a new map. If all you really want is a new map, you can invite a friend to join your world. The first time they do so, they will be given a map, which they can then give to you before they leave.
I ended up doing creative mode, I never tried that mode out before. It basically ruined the game for me because you can get whatever u want. gonna take what I learned from that world and move on to a new beginning. There's a Mimi in every voyage you know. And a fart can smell good if you sniff it right. But if a bear s in the woods don't blame me.

Ps. Yeah cutting just the tops and replanting it is something I never thought about. Thx

Retired Staff^^^ Use that to find slimes.
