why do creepers and skeletons keeps spawning inside my house no matter where i build a house eventually they spawn inside my roof unless i fill the inside of the roof with blocks but i have a sticky piston door setup so i need the roof.
Be sure to check under you house for cave systems and mob spawners. The game checks all available spaces to spawn mobs and then spawns them in a radius around a valid area. So it can and will spawn mobs in your house if there isn't enough room to spawn them below, no matter how much light you actually have.
You could cover the roof / inside of roof with half slabs which mobs can't spawn on.
If you need it for red stone then try lighting it better or making the space only one block high inside your roof.
