Has anyone else experienced many problems on the flat maps? I get a HUGE amount of lag and mobs disappearing/appearing non stop! In split screen 2player mode, often times second and first player disappear/appear too! The lag im getting is where i place a block and it takes a second for the block to appearalso im starting to get freezing also.
Yo You right bruh I put down lavas and it dissapear leaves as well btw its sorrounded by wood so it cant be that oh yea LAG IS GAY 4j should be able to fix this

Odd.. I've done quite a bit of building on a superflat world and very rarely experience framerate drops. In fact, it's much less "laggy" than any normal worlds I've played on, which makes sense. Most of the issues I've seen on the forum so far involve split-screen multiplayer, so that probably has a lot to do with it.
I very rarely play split-screen and haven't experienced nearly the amount of problems I've heard about on MCF. Most of my "real" friends can't be trusted with something as delicate as a Minecraft world.
Flatwords should be less lag and faster auto saves...(tiny chunks, no dungeons, caverns etc.) Multiplayer is a bit laggy, but that's not necessarily 4J's fault. It deals with your Internet and multiplayer connections. There are bugs 4J will fix. Split Screen may need
A fix if 4J can do anything, it's jacked up sometimes.
i dont play online much but i do do spilt screen 2 player which is when i typically get lag and glitches. I dont use mods or anything like that. heck i dont know how to add mods lol
I haven't had any serious problems and I use flat, regular, and hosted worlds (noticed I used worlds and not words, lol jk). nothing major anyway, I mean yesterday I was in my flat world in creative mode, which I use for testing and inventing, anyway I was making a block swapper and when it would swap for the glowstone, during the process the glowstone would disapear never to return ???? um ok was what I was thinking at the time lol. so all in all I actually built a glowstone teleporter lol (which teleports the glowstone to notingness lol) I figured it was time to find a new block swapper model lol. but it's nothing to complain about, I mean fixes will be out within the next two weeks as I read in a tweet the other day. so when it comes out everyone will be happy for a day before the complaining for the next update to come out and what wasn't in the last update/patch that should of been, lol. it's the truth though, it's all I read in the forums nowadays.
