How can I make a double door 2 high with glass the simplest way possible. I've done it one time but I have excessive red stone wiring and looks weird covered up

He didn't say it had to be a lamp, just a block that you can pass the redstone current through, which you can use a lot of different blocks in place of that. Like dirt if you really wanted to. So yes this will work, you just have to use something other than the lamp. >.>

Okay so any block really then. The lamp threw me off and so I thought I was looking for something with special properties.
EDIT: With dirt I still had to run a short extra bit of wire along the side to power the bottom front corner piston.
A powered rail receives and emits.... that's what I used.But just so you know, you will not be able to see through the glass with the jeb door design. You will see the sticky piston.
Perhaps try this if you want it to be a transparent door.

Use pistons that are facing down (regular only)

Yeah, with dirt I ran an additional wire down and along side which worked. I'll try the down facing pistons though. That will keep it more compact.
Even more compact will be redstone rails.

Also, if you need to make it a 1x2 door I can show you. (Or a 1x2 door then a 2x2 block part then another 1x2 door, very simple yet awesome looking)
