Ive searched the forums for this answer. But a friend told me that you can play on other peoples maps they made. Is this true? Ive seen pictures of cities that people made on here that look amazing! And i want to have those maps and add my own things to it. is that possible? Sorry if this is noob question
ps. i dont mean play online on someones map. I mean use there map as your own and saved on your xbox
I don't think that is currently possible due to the fact that microsoft is against 3rd party content being given to others in case the map has offensive or sexual content in it, I know, it is a stupid rule because I don't see any of my friends doing that, but rules are rules.

No, Halo does it in forge mode. So why can't 4J? Because 4J just haven't implented it yet.

OP: If you want to download others' maps, I suggest using Google or any other search engine. You can answer your own question much more quickly that way.

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't Halo's forge mode use pre-fabricated pieces that are placed around the world. The level of creativity and possibilities from Minecraft far out weigh that of a simply placing cookie cutter pieces. Leading to...

I have seen it done before by a friend.
Some videos might actually leave links to a map download but I'm not sure.

The only way it can be done is to break the Terms of Service. If you have no problem doing that, then by all means go ahead.
