Like in my previous post, we need an option where the host can go to "Host options" and press a button that puts the main spawn at the host's position, it would also be nice to see a "smite" button if your friend is screwing around and you do not want to kick him.

Two good ideas for sure.
This may be silly of me, but is the spawn point universal to the seed? For example, if I use seed "cheeseburgers", and you use seed "cheeseburgers", are we going to spawn at the same point when loading our worlds separately?

Most worlds have more than one spawn point location.
So then it is varied. I could spawn at point A, generating my map seed 'cheeseburgers', and when you generate it independently you could spawn at point B instead, making that the spawn point for your world. To clarify, two independent saves, same seed, possibility of different spawns. Am I understanding this correctly, now that I've received an affirmative and negative response.
I have frequently generated multiple "copy" worlds of the same seed since the 1.8.2, since I frequently generate the seed as a creative world first, fly over it, and then generate it again as a survival world if I like what I see enough to start playing in it. It's been my experience that the initial spawn for the seed is always within a 30 block radius on any of the subsequent "copies" of the same seed that I create. It does not seem to matter whether or not I generate the maps in creative mode or survival mode either. I have also noticed that 9 times out of 10, the initial spawn will be in the lower right quadrant of the map; and have yet to encounter one that puts the initial spawn near the center of the map (and I've probably started at least 50 different seeds since the update came out, since I delete most of my survival worlds upon the 1st death... and I die rather frequently).
As someone described above, however, if you exit a world without saving it after the first spawn, the secondary spawn will be at or near the center of the map for that player. I'm not sure if this changes the initital spawn for subsequent players entering the same map for the first time to the center or whether their spawn would be near the spawn the first player first spawned.
(to mods, please don't lock it, I know there is a seed thread but I already checked and it doesn't have a seed with a center spawn point.)

Check, rodg. Thanks.
