I was wondering maybe we can have customizable capes? I think it could work just like emblems from Black Ops. They were able to make in-game custom emblems so I think we can make our own type of capes using something similar to the black ops emblem creator. Well toss around the idea and if you don't like it than you find a way to make it work.

If you'd like. I'll take you to a special place in town. A place where all your wishes come true.
They could easily implement this. They just don't want to. Microsoft would complain about there not being enough money in their pockets, and wouldn't allow it.
The problem with this is you cant trust the players. :l
Black Ops is still a perfect example. Even if you give them a rudementary set of shapes or colors then they'll make perverted or nasty stuff. The reason its not such a big deal is because Black Ops is already an M rated game, whereas Minecraft is like E 10+ I believe and thusly they have to follow some rules, thats why the censor signs
I knew some one is going to eventually say "What if some one makes an "bad" emblem?"
Answer: It all matters about who you play with. Unless they make it so that you can choose from a list of servers we wont need any type of report system.

There's still the problem of Microsoft not allowing that on their E rated games. I personally dont really care what their emblem is.

Whats there not to allow? It's an E rated game. So everyone can play it. People have wide ranges of creativity. This game is based of of creativity. Why not have player or cape customization? I mean the game is already expressing creativity. Whats the point in not adding it?Is it because Microsoft is afraid of getting sued from player content? It's not like people bought this game. I'm sure that thousands of people have made Marios, Sonics, etc... And I haven't heard about any lawsuit to 4J or Microsoft. If its about explicit content that the user might use to make their emblem, what does it matter? It's all about the people you play with and NOTHING is going to stop some one from grabbing pink wool and making a huge ****. You understand?

Its rated E because its supposed to be friendly for everyone. Rating means it isnt friendly for everyone, so thats where higher ratings come in, but yeah something like this, they dont have much control because of free building and they cant take away bad things you built, but for the most part, they are rated for single player, and multiplayer can vary among gameplay. COD is rated m, not because of multiplayer, because of violence in campaign, blood, language etc. Most games say online gameplay may vary.

Right so there's no problem what so ever for this from what your saying.

Perhaps we could have skin suggestions for our own, which would cost MS points but all we would have to do is send them the skin from computer through email or something and they would possibly send you a message saying you can buy and download the skin.
I just want the Minecraft Cape from the Avatar store to be wearable in-game, it makes sense.
It does make sense but then you have people running around with 2 capes, 1 from the halloween skin pack and 1 from the avatar marketplace, and microsoft usually does not usually allow both a avatar item and in game item in 1 package.

I am glad you agree.
yeah, they would havde to add a custom skin designer first (which i honestly dont think will happen)
You never know.
