The cheap way to record minecraft would be to get a easy cap. I got one for 10 bucks on ebay, including shipping. It worked pretty well. It's only standard definition, however.

Easy peasy! All you have to do is first build Minecraft in a Minecraft world. Then build a memory array that can sequentially save data from the game as you progress. Then build a computer with large enough GPU and necessary ALU functions, also with a transceiver for internet access. After which you can build a server for "YouTube", connect to original computer through a hub, build more computers so others can stream your video. Connect them to your hub as well, build something in your "Minecraft in Minecraft", record the tour on your "capture card", send it to "YouTube's" server. VoilĂ ! You now have a YouTube video that everyone can watch!..... As long as they're in your world.

My friends youtube videos are done with a roxio, the qualities not that bad.
