I want to start building some more advanced pixel art, but the only thing that is keeping me from doing it is the fact that I don't know if pixel art its own area on the map will mix well with my world that is meant for city builds like houses and stuff. Should I start a new world for just pixel art? Opinions and ideas would be nice.
Well, you definitely want a superflat world for something like this. And I do think pixel art pieces look much better in their own area. Makes the world feel like a huge gallery.
I think that if well placed and planned, the pixel art could look good if presented well throughout the city. It could make for some interesting displays or 'tourist attractions'.
I would just put it in with your other world it's not that hard to make or find a bit of flatland for pixel art and I don't think it would detract much from the scenery.

I think you've seen my world in pics with my modern houses (it's on flat land). I want to build the pixel art in that map, but I've added a lot more and changed some things. So the main question is if I did build pixel art near the edge of the map would it take away from the looks of the buildings (art would be a mid distance from the buildings). If so, I want to make a new map just for pixel art, on flat land
But the pixel art I'm doing isn't something small. I'm going to do one of michael Jordan and its based off a real photo. But billboards would be cool. I might do that with smaller ones.

I'm just going to make a new world. I'll still build on my other one but I think one with just pixel art will make things stay in place and be more organized.
Yeah I am, but have made atleast 20 worlds trying to get a spawn point in the center of the map. Still can't get one, think you could message me a seed?
