I use a Black Magic Pro Intensity capture device and edit in sony vegas and use audible (free) for the voice over. I like this setup a lot, but want to get a different video editing program, because the learning curve is crazy for sony vegas. Same here, can't believe you use it. I use Sony Vegas platinum because it was cheaper than vegas.
i use the EasyCap it only costed 10 bucks or 15 works good except for the buzzing noise in the background.

I just ordered the HDPVR from BB, they didnt have the Game edition, but from reviews it still looks decent
