Roxio game capture card is good, I use it. Word of warning, most people think it sucks because they don't have the right video file type recording (default and recomended is WMV, the one you want to use is AVI). Around $60, is reletively cheap, decently built, and comes with decent programs to record and edit.
I know it isn't cheap, but I use the Hauppauge HD PVR2 Gaming Edition and it works like a charm for recording gaming footage from consoles think it can also connect to the output HDMI on a computer/laptop for recording on that without using Fraps or another screen recorder, but haven't tried it myself yet due to not having any HDMI outputs on my computer D:
Plus make sure you have a good computer and a lot of hard drive room for recording onto!
How much is that one again? I think I saw that when I was shopping. Hows the program it comes with?
Oh and roxio uses the HDMI..ish output. The red/green/blue ones. sorry, not sure what it's called. Roxio is good for just starting out, and not at all bad. Only issue is you can't record your chat and your gameplay sound. I found a way, but at a heavy audio quality price.
Yeah, you need a good computer, or at least a decent one. I have a computer thats fairly old and running Windows xp, and doesnt have a problem, but space is an issue (I have to move the video files to upload, so I recomend recording on your upload device :P)
erm...I'm american here...I believe thats about $200 or close enough. ok.
The audio fidelity is good, and yeah, I wasn't completly sure if it was composite.
I think its about...4-5 years old, maybe younger (was bought as an option, wasn't originally mine).
Oh, yeah, can't upload to youtube through the program I don't think, but I recomend the site either way, seeing as you can set up the settings while it uploads.
Roxio has 2 seperate programs to record and edit. Its not bad, not great, but not bad.
