Really like to play minecraft on the xbox, but there is a big problem, the card is very small, as you can clear the entire map for the week ie already built a lot of things and do not hunt all zanogo do on the new map, but the hunt to continue the construction of places on the map, alas no more.
The map is significantly smaller then the PC but nothing to complain about because it would take you weeks if not months of game play to build on the entire map. Once you are done doing that start mining and build under the surface, problem solved. I am hoping that the update makes the maps a little bigger though, just for the fun of it.
These threads wind me up, and need to be closed. There is no way that the map size is too small, especially for building on.
868x868x64 (on average height) blocks (I think thats right, correct me if I'm wrong), that's more than 48 million blocks on average. You're saying that you've built/mined that many since MCXBLA came out? If so, given it takes about a second to mine a block, that's 48 million seconds, or 800,000 minutes, or 13,333 hours, or 555 days. It hasn't even been out that long. As the above post said, come back with pics of your full map. If you're not happy with the map size on MCXBLA, then go play the PC one. (That is bigger aint it?)

Minecraft isn't all about building its about the sense of adventure and exploration.
Eg finding new exciting places to build.
Most people would like a map they could get lost on.
At the moment after the first three hours of gameplay you probably figured out enough of the map to never get lost again.

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.

Yeah, agreed on that point, but the OP was on about running out of space to build on. Which is practically impossible given the time that MCXBLA has been out, and the fact that most 1.7.3 maps are unreadable or corrupt, so its really only been a month or so of building. Again, impossible to run out of building space in that time.
The maps COULD be bigger for exploring purposes. BUT, has anyone explored the entire map, including mapping out/lighting up and neatening every single mineshaft/stronghold, or caverns and ravines? I doubt it.
I understand, and kind of agree to your point though.

This ^^^ I began to hate survival knowing i can run around the whole map in 30mins
Its just that if the map was bigger more places to go more Strongholds, mineshaft, ect...either way the . And Btw Ive made a village on this new map Ive got and it takes up quite a bit of space on my map. and it took good 2 hours. I bet i can cover my map before Christmas. think of it as a gift from yours truly
I get the (perceived) "run out of building space" thing.
I also get the "need to explore" thing (for those who like to just wander around gawking at the scenery).
But can't you just start another map… or several more?
Do they have to be linked together?

If Minecraft isn't about building, then a whole new world is always just a few button clicks away. So, start a new world and get lost in that. You shouldn't need to have all your old builds all on the same map with you to have a "sense of adventure and exploration."
Similarly, if you're playing the game for survival, then starting with nothing presents the greatest survival challenge. It's when you're out in the open with naught but a wooden sword that you're most vulnerable to the mobs. So there again, starting a new world is better for that and walking out in the same world to restock on depleted resources or just add to the number of diamonds you have stored in your chests.
For the avid builders, try making more land by engaging in some major terraforming. It takes some time to make land out of the now vaster oceans or to make plains out of an extreme hill; but it can be done.
Methinks, the PC people just like to have something to complain about the XBox version. The world size is just fine the way it is.
Summary: Map terribly small
