My idea is that instead of working on another skin pack they should release a texture packs, for a small price. I would love this and i would definitely buy the texture pack. maybe they could even partner up with dokucraft, jolicraft, sphax purebdcraft, or even others!
They are looking into them. We won't be getting TP's that were and are on the PC. If they are made, they will be made by people 4J hired to make, or 4J made themselves.
4J is looking into doing Texture Packs. They've said we are getting 5 Skin Packs. If you only count the numbered ones and not the Summer of Arcade or Halloween Charity pack, we're on Skin Pack #3. So we have 2 more regular ones to go.
After that, they'll probably start on Texture Packs.
wow thats Bullcrap i want dokucraftt 4j makes bad enough skins let alone texture packs plus i think theres enough skins i think it stupid they cant get already made TP with owners appeoval

You can throw a hissy fit all you want, but a business works on things according to what we call priority. Fixing bugs, improving mechanics and gameplay, adding new features are all much more important than interchangeable graphics sets.
Patience, man. They will eventually release texture packs. Starting threads like this won't help to speed up the process.
yes it will, because when i say it they will all of a sudden magically get hit with a speed II potion, making them increase their work speed xD jk. ive seen one for mods a custom maps but not one for this so i made it
First of all, I love Zomboy. Secondly, i think it would be cool to buy packs on the marketplace for about 160msp, with 5 texture packs in. That way we have a lot of choice, instead of having to buy one pack at a time.
I think 80 MSP per pack would be more than fair. A lot more work goes into developing new graphics for every block/item, as opposed to re-texturing a character. Not to mention, I don't think too many people would want to buy groups of graphics sets. Most players only play with one texture pack throughout their whole Minecraft-life.
Long answer: The texture packs that 4J developes will more than likely be entirely new texture packs because A). They only have to pay their own people for making them and B ) It would simplify the issues of licensing, IPs, and copywrites/trademarks. It is possible that the creators of some of the more popular texture packs would allow their work to be used, but they would still have to be developed for MC360 which runs on a different code base. Then there is the entirely different issue of who actually owns the texture packs for the PC version. Does the creator own the textures used? Does Mojang? Legal jungle is an understatement.
Sarcastic answer: No, you can't have anything for free in this life. Pay up when they release something just like everyone else.

Faithful 32x - Basically just the default textures except 32x32 instead of 16x16
And one called Inspiration made by a guy named TobiwanK3nobi

Retired StaffI wouldn't count on seeing anything higher res than 16x16. The 360 has a difficult enough time handling the game with a default 16x16 tileset.
