You quoted and answered but one small part of my post, it's rude to do so I took time and put thought into what I typed the least you could do is the same.
Fact remains this won't happen because there is no money to be made on such a big project for such a small niche.
thanks for the advice im new here and i agree with you now that i have reread your post. Thinking about how much money they have to put in, all the bugs, the coding, and the content they would have to take out of the pc version makes it just not worth it. Either mojang or 4j would have to completely recode the game, and pc gamers would not want to miss out on extra features, mods, customizable skins, ect. Then there is the problem of connecting. You would almost have to (and would want to) start a server on pc because you need to port forward and alloticate ram so it doesnt lag, so how could you send an xbox gamer an invite or xbox gamers typing in ip adresses? That seems very unreal, i dont think any console gamer would want to type in ip adresses or port forward. Now i can see that this wouldn't be a very good or profitable move by either 4j or mojang. I just thought it would be awesome like portal 2 crossplay with steam ps3.
