Its only infringement if they sell skins made like those without permission. I have an entire flash drive save file of Anime characters and another of video game characters I made using Soul Calibur V's Create a Soul feature.
Exactly, that's why I don't understand why people keep saying it's against copyright. I'm pretty sure 4J will add this feature once they make some more money off there own skin packs though.

Honestly, legal issues or not, I doubt they ever will. With as many copies of each skin pack they sell, just from a business standpoint they'd be crazy to give us the ability to make them ourselves.
This is just something that has never and will never happen. True user created content is just too much of a legal hassle, technical hassle, expense and security risk for any amount of fan happiness to ever make worthwhile. Now maybe if they made some kind of in-game editor with model pieces and a basic texture program, like games like Forza and Soul Calibur have, that would be fine. But there will never be a "make this on PC and upload to my xbox" feature.
I would say Trials Evolution is a good response at this point. maybe not, but.

I agree, unfortunatly. However...that wouldn't be a bad job. Sitting there, maybe 5-10 minutes looking at a skin for anything copyright infringing or inappropriate on a skin. Charge 80 MP for a skin...I see profit (if a little)
