4J Studios claims to make Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition more like the PC version and so far they have't added the ability to allow people to make and upload skins (From the PC) and use them for the Xbox version. I asked a countless amount of times and haven't gotten one single answer. It's REALLY pissing me off to not getone answer atleast when they'll add this. I really hate having o spend 160 microsoft points to buy them when millions of people could just upload thier own skins and use them and simply not ask or Beg" for a specific skin. And now they're getting other people to make skins for them and which just look bad, not worth the points.
So unless 4J adds this feature, than it's either take requests or disapoint millions of fans.

How is anyone supposed to answer when no one knows? The only thing 4J has said is that it's something they'd like to see as well, except there are things that need to be dealt with beforehand.

Don't buy them? They're DLC so they aren't a needed part of the game. No one makes you buy them. They have trial packs so you can see if you like any of the skins.

You do make some points, however, the trials (Mainly #3) let's you use a variety of skins, which are the ones that look horrible. For example, the guy with buck teeth and the mustache. Along with the other "villagers" skins. The only good ones, I'd say, are the Cow, Zombie Herobrine, and Zombie Pigman. I still buy them but it's pointless to spend 160 points when most of the skins look retarded and only 3 in the pack would be used.
But 4J has made th sins in the packs before Pack #3 and some in #4 and the Halloween special pack. They seem to make them more crisp and clear and they are definetly worth it. SO IF 4J IS READING THIS, YOU GUYS MAKE THE SKINS!!!! But I still want to use PC skins AND/OR our own skins because they are like our own idienty that describes us. Don't know how to explain that other than, for example Me. General Vance (My) skin would be wearing a General Uniform and Hat or something, I don't know.
Well first of all 4j is always busy and you cannot be mad if they don't respond to you. And I don't think that they'll add this because people could just make what ever is in a skin pack so they won't be getting money from that, not to mention the fact that it doesnt make much scenes to make a 2nd minecraft therefore they are just not getting a lot of money. So although it would be great I highly doubt they'll do it...
I don't feel copyright would be an issue. I bring this up a lot, but in recent WWE games they made it so you cna make your own logos via what they call a paint tool. It's like using MS paint to create a logo for your superstar. There is no limitations to what you can or cannot make and you can even upload them for other people to use on their create-a-superstars. You can also use the logos online.
4J could maybe make a report skin button for any user with custom skins that are inappropriate. I really do wish that had this feature though.
I remember in Saints Row The Third you could use their website to upload and download other player characters, and then log in to your account from the website to your Xbox. Maybe 4J could do the same?

Since when does "making MCXBLA more like the PC version" mean adding a skin editor feature? MCPC has never had, and probably never will have, a skin editor. Mods are made by people with nothing better to do, that's why they're free. DLC is made by a company that wants to turn a profit, that's why they cost money.
Maybe once Microsoft figures out how to make it so kiddies don't make inappropriate skins. That and figure out how to charge people for them.
I doubt that's the issue. You can't get much inappropriate-ness with 2D MC skins. My friend has a world full of pixel art, and many of his pieces are naked hentai chicks, which are much more detailed than a skin.

There's always gonna be the idiots that use skins of like Hitler, Stalin, Bin Laden, ect. and other inappropriate skins so 4J could make a Website where you upload a skin that you either made or got off ofthe one website where you can see skins (Forgot the site name), have it checked by a staff and if it passes, you have to buy it with microsoft points over the computer I guess, unless there is an idea for the Xbox too. So it'll solve 2 problems - money for 4J and bring smiles to peoples' faces. Point wise, they could be 10 points per skin or, per 40 skins or so, 160 points. The main reason I want this, is (not just for myself but others) to make Machinima's and upload them to Youtube. And for you guys who like to Roleplay, have skins of your desire from many genre's - post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, medieval, modern, and so on.
And for some of you guys commenting, it's either me reading it wrong or you guys intending, you seem like jerks. Don't know why but hopefully it's just me reading it that way... and I sais "they are triying to make it more like the PC version", what I mean by that is I think it was during 1.7.3's release they said they were trying to bring it more up-to-date with the PC. Don't deny it because that's what they said. And allowing you to make your own skin(s) would help it bring it more up-to-date with the PC version, not just updates.
This is just something that has never and will never happen. True user created content is just too much of a legal hassle, technical hassle, expense and security risk for any amount of fan happiness to ever make worthwhile. Now maybe if they made some kind of in-game editor with model pieces and a basic texture program, like games like Forza and Soul Calibur have, that would be fine. But there will never be a "make this on PC and upload to my xbox" feature.
I think 4j will not add this feature. I think is copyrighting ( i read a comment in the forums last year for example: if i make a mw2 skin im copyright treyarch skin without permission and they will sue 4j or mojang)

How could this be an issue? I see tons of people with Mario, comic characters, and other copyrighted skins on the PC, so what is wrong with us making a character from a game or movie, our skin? It's not like we are selling the skins, it's just for looks, there is no financial gain involved.
Maybe your avatar is infringing copyright rules? Last time I remember spiderman wasn't owned by you.
Its only infringement if they sell skins made like those without permission. I have an entire flash drive save file of Anime characters and another of video game characters I made using Soul Calibur V's Create a Soul feature.

They're different versions of MC. You can't/shouldn't compare them. If you want your "favorite skin", you'll have to stick with the PC version.
Don't forget about the copyright issue, too.
