I can't think of anything I want to do in my single player world right now. So I want to try to get all 11 music Discs. Is that a good goal or is it to easy/hard?

its hard. You have to hit the creeper once and sprint/jump or it will 100% blow up. I have 3 atm.

That's a good idea I think, I might consider trying it.

Its pretty hard. You have to get skeleton to kill a creeper. Which pretty much means you have to get the skeleton to one shot the creeper or else the creeper will explode all over the skeleton

But I made a system to try to do it, did not go so well. I have a line where I stand in one area, the creeper is in the middle and the skeleton is on the other side. I can get the creeper in no problem, but the Skeleton will not go in. I keep on circling the line trying to get the Skeleton to fall in but he just won't go. And since I keep moving around other hostile mobs attack and distract me.
Any tips?

1. Dig one block down

2. Remove the blocks which look towards the block you erased. This will create a 'cross' shape. Like a '+' sign. (This should be one block deep).

3. The four blocks you destroyed to create the '+' shape... place a sticky piston in each one, facing above. So the green texture would be visible from above. Leave the middle block empty.

4. Now in the middle block tower up 4 blocks. Leave the fourth block but destroy the blocks beneath it. (It needs to be one above head height so that you are unable to jump when beneath it.

5. Now you have one hollow block in the middle. Bring it one block higher (Now you shouldn't be able to jump). Place a pressure plate on this block.

6. Stand on the pressure plate and you are trapped, given the fact you can't jump. Repeat this process 3 blocks away in line with the first one.

7. Once completed, wait for nightfall and lure both a Creeper and a Skeleton to stand on the pressure plates.

Once both are trapped... Stand carefully behind the Creeper, keeping your distance but also luring the Skeleton to hit you. Once the Skeleton hits the Creeper stand back and watch this defenceless Creeper die. pick up the music disc.

Why not grab another Creeper and repeat the process for another disc?

youtube "record studio" they have some great layouts. I just wached monkeyfarm's. He doesn't tell you how to make it, but it's not hard to figure out. You just need a mob sorter, and there are plenty of tutorials on those.
