I know whatever the PC version gets, the xbox one pretty much gets as well.
But why not add in Bears, Sharks, Birds, and other types of animals, or plants?
It would make the world so much more vast and full of life.
I know, this has been said millions of times..
Always thought the same, I don't see how it would be that hard. And I really wish kiling the dogs would give something because I get spawn packs of 5 and its kind of a pain. Give me a bone or a bow wow.
And this is why that, on PC, I never play without Mo' Creatures installed. Its worth the Java crashing every 15 minutes or so just to hear and see the fauna running around. Daytime hostiles were also a plus.
Sharks, bears and all te other creatures are a mod for PC. Perhaps 4J might add it as DLC later on, however its not a guarrantee, the only thing we know they're planing on doing is going up to the 1.2.3 update.
So they make a bear in a mod and 4J can't use it? They own bears now lol. Animals really do need to be added the world is a complete desertion now after the patch. (Besides balto's gang constantly spawning)
I refuse to believe some extra mobs will break the game or cause a balance issue. They can do it there extra creative way like with the dogs...just give nothing and just spawn in mass piles of **** . I want a block deer to shoot with a bow since i never use it and I want to put his big block head above my fireplace (consists of a fire pit more so).

And what would you get from the deer, Venison? We already have more than enough food. Deer hide, we already have leather. Its not so much game breaking as it is if it'll fit into the game well. Maybe a sea animal such as whales that spawn in ocean biomes and drop whale blubber which can be used in furnaces or maybe as a light source! ;3
And then maybe a bear for some hostiles during the day
