So I have never tried Skyblock and wanted to go for it now that creative is out.
I was able to easily find how to set up Skyblock 1.1 block by block on youtube and I found the challenge list here on the PC forums but I'm having trouble finding a tutorial on how to set-up Skyblock 2.1 block by block. I did find the challenge list in the original Skyblock thread on the PC forums though but that's only half the help.
Does anyone know of a tutorial video out there on YouTube that shows how to set-up Skyblock 2.1? Or maybe even someone would be kind enough to create one if they have a capture device.
Maybe I'm totally off base and Skyblock 2.1 isn't possible on our current 1.8.2 Beta version but the challenges seem possible and there is a very wide array of blocks and items in creative so I'm thinking its doable.
Well, you could always download the PC version world and open it with MCEdit. Then, just dissect and recreate.
Problem is that I don't have a PC capable of running Minecraft nor do I have Minecraft purchased for PC and unsure if the free version would work as well.

I don't have full version of minecraft (i use pre-releases and snapshots to update) and I just play offline. xD

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.

Hopefully everyone will see it this time. You can open an MCPC world without using the PC version of Minecraft. Now... MCEdit can edit worlds created in Minecraft, right? Well, that would mean it would be displaying these worlds, right? And you could see them with your eyeballs and look at all the blocks in said map, correct?
2.1 would be possible but would require much more work than doing one of the earlier versions. The floating sand (without something underneath) is impossible. The whole nether thing would be much more difficult, but not completely impossible you would just have to line up the portal areas and such.

Yeah I was wondering about that sand issue as I saw some people complaining in the original thread that the sand will fall. I was also unsure if there was a chest placed in the nether and how I would get that to work. And yet another thing I thought about was there was talk of a mainland that is part of it (not sure if that was true or not).

You're not supposed to go to the mainland, some people have, however. There is a chest in the nether with the second ice block and a few other items. It wouldn't be impossible to do, however, it would take some doing to make sure the nether portal would line up perfectly.
