I'm building a huge tower that's partially underwater. I figured replacing the water with tnt would be easier than digging out whatever other block cuz I can just ignite it and let it go. I just don't want the game to freeze. I think doing it in quarters is the best idea, but its still a 50x50 quarter of a circle going as deep as 20 blocks, so however many tnt that is, would it freeze, and or crash my game?
There have been many times where your game will consistently lag, and even hang. Crashing may occur if your world is already dealing with enough lag. The limit is 20 if activated all at once. Anything more, and TNT will actually be removed as a result. Your best bet is to set off as little as you can in a given instance or activate each TNT one by one.
I plan to ignite just one then allow a chain reaction to continue. I just need to know the possible consequences. I just tried some of it but very little explodes because it is currently surrounded by water, but when its surrounded by tnt it'll be a different story so I can't really test a small area right now because of the water. Any other ideas
