I liked all the stuff that was addrd for 1.8.2, don't get me wrong.
But I was very disappointed while in creative mode I noticed.. There's no mob spawner or spawner eggs. So I have no possible way of adding mobs into specific rooms controllably for my adventure map I was making, which really bothers me a lot. I'd like to know when 4J will add that please.
Another disappointment was that there was no infinite water or lava, and there was no 'quick move' (y) to put the items from your hot bar, back into the creative items menu. You have to press A on each item, then press B.
Or drag the item to the item you want from the creative menu and replace item into your hotbar.
It was really annoying.
(Then there's those weird Silverfish Blocks that don't do anything because you can't spawn any mobs. )
Last disappointment was: the superflat world was only 3 blocks deep.
I was making a dungeon map and then when I went down I noticed I could only go down 3 and had to remake hours worth my dungeon map, on a NON-SUPERFLAT WORLD... I had to literally landscape a 50x50 plot of land to be completely flat to remake my dungeon map, because the super-flat world is too low.
Anyone else have any disappointments to add?
I'd like to know you agree at least, unless I'm just crazy and complaining too much.
There are barely any dogs spawning anymore, barely any animals spawn, All the giant crevices and cracks in the ground are underground, and there should be more people aloud in the games
You complain too much, like you said.
I agree, the mob spawning issue is indeed annoying, and I wish we could have gotten eggs, but we will in the next update.
Infinite lava and water is in the bug fix update, as with the fixed creative quick move issues.
You're wrong on the silverfish blocks. If you put the game into Easy (or harder) and break the block, silverfish spawn.
Your point on superflat is funny (to me at least). We all knew it was only 3 deep, your fault for not testing it first.

Those crevices are ravines and are a new part of the terrain generation.
Xbox can't support more people in the game, currently.
Several things you've mentioned did not arrive on the PC until after their 1.8 updates, so it stands to reason that you should not have really expected to get them in the 1.8.2 update. You can always check the "history" sections of the various Wiki pages to find out when different "stuff" arrived on the PC to avoid being disappointed with future updates and avoid putting in unnecessary work on maps. For example, the depth of the superflat world is essentially the same as on the PC. Here is what the Wiki says about it: "On a classic superflat world, the terrain consists of one layer of bedrock, two layers of dirt, and one layer of grass; the surface of the world is completely flat and at height y = 4, with the exception of NPC villages and terrain features, if they are enabled."

The bucket issue in creative will probably be fixed in a "bug fix" update soon. Each major update is generally followed fairly quickly with a special bug fix to address the bugs that are found in the update. In the meantime, it's pretty easy to grab 2 buckets of water and just make your own temporary infinite water source (2 x 2 x 1 square) near the spot you're working.
The PC players had to go through this too. Super flat will only be 3 blocks until 1.4, which came out for PC almost a week ago. Mob eggs will be added in 1.2 (I think) and infinite lava/water and easy block disposal will be available in the bug fix update.
