From the 1.8.2 update I have heard that you can make wool from string. I know this sounds like a derpy question, but, it would be nice to know. I need to know like what tab it is in.

I would assume the last tab, where you can dye wool and such. Not exactly sure, can't check since I'm away from my 360 at the moment. I think it could be done before 1.8.2 as well, I could've sworn I seen it quite awhile back.
