That makes sense...
Anyway sounds like a tough night.
I had been followed by 6 creepers and 1 skeleton and soon as i ran into my house
the skeleton missed his arrow and hit the creeper.
All hell broke out...
Had to do some fixes on Meh house
would have to be in the current version on the tutorial world... no bed, and had to wait out the night for the most part. Creepers were outside... didn't know how many till day came.. which there were more on the roof...>< so more or less big holes is all I can say to that one...lol

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I had like 5 worst in a row when I first started to play the game. First off I did not know what to do so just walked around hitting dirt, then got a small house and started to make a tunnel. Night came and mobs spawned in my house killing me over and over, that went on for the next 4 days I thought they were getting in my house from the open block I had so I closed it and they kept killing me over and over. That was till my friend told me how to make LIGHT! I had no idea that you could do soo much in the game at the start, I almost gave up on the game at first getting tired of getting killed. Sure glad my friend told me how to build things, man that small house was scary at night with no light and windows LOL

Add me if you like I play mostly COD, but I do play alot of Minecraft also.
First night I had a general idea of what I need to accomplish, so I made a nice little house.
I kept hearing zombies and figured they were outside.
I needed some cobblestone so I dug down in my house.
I fell into a 10 block high cave with 3 zombies and two creepers.
And ended up dying.
Just happened to me recently. Made a mis-step exiting through my iron door, it closed in my face with a creeper just around the corner and boom.
With the update I had no sheep for wool, so I had to rush back home to get my items. Unfortunately there were 6 more creepers stalking my house so after several unsuccessful attempts to retrieve my inventory and extensive damage to my house, I shut down my Xbox.
Sounds like most of you're guys' MC Experiences were pretty bad ^-^ . Anyway, my worst night went a little like this:
I spawn in my brand new created world, it was a beautiful elegant world full of trees, blanketed by snow, and full of deep dark caves which I still have no intentions of exploring, and after I got done punching some wood and gathering some food sources I manage to make a pickaxe, an axe, Wooden Planks, and a crafting Table. I decide to make a nice little 8 x 8 Cozy Cottage. I get halfway into builing the roof when I run out of wood so I make an adventure to get some more so I can finish my Cottage. When I return, I open my Door and walk in, as I spin around I come eye-to-eye with my worst Nemises . . . . The Creeper . . . . my heart sank as I watched my Cottage sink to the ground. It was . . . . devastating . . . . .
And that is my very Descriptive story of my Horrible night in Mine Craft
One night, I was fairly new to minecraft at the time. It was like the first week I had the game. I was going to find and collect sugar cane and I had found some. On the way back however, I was walking across a lot of gravel and fighting off mobs. I was getting attacked by skeletons, Zombies, Spiders. And I was getting destroyed. A creeper rolled up and I had hit it back and it blew up and the floor started falling. There was a massive landslide and in desperate attempt to live I ran to the nearest corner and hoped for the best. I could hear mobs suffocating and creepers dying all around me. Then I looked up and found gravel falling onto me as well. I was starting to suffocate and I was running really low on hearts. I started breaking the gravel in desperate attempt to save my life. I managed to live from that. Digging my way out I came out to a huge hole covered in gravel. I made my way out and had a long trip home. I managed to make it back with like 2 hearts left. Not sure if that's a bad story or an awesome one but I was scared less. After that night never explored unless I had a bed on me.
I ran to the nearest corner and hoped for the best.
I liked that part, running to a corner, Like a Boss! I usually try my best to avoid going outside at night and the applies to going inside a cave. Cave exploring just scares the hell out of me because of the darkness and that random creeper hiding around the corner waiting for you to walk past . . .
When I first started to play minecraft, back in May ish, didn't have a clue what I was doing, or how the game worked. I decided to make a house out of wood, cause I thought it looked nicer, which it did. My house eventually ended up as a mansion, then a huge 'thing', it was about 100x100, with about 4 floors, all made out of wooden planks. I played on that world for about 3 weeks, making it better. Eventually made it to the nether, and got about 10 stacks of netherack, which I placed all the way around my house, to keep the mobs back. I had left about 2 blocks gap around 3 sides of my house, and about 20 at the front, for the entrance. After finishing that, I lit them all and stood back to see my creation.
Then gasped and weeped a little as my multistorey mansion thing went up in flames!!!! I didn't know that fire could spread over the 2 blocks of grass onto my house. . .
Needless to say, I've learnt from that. Now all my creations are made from cobblestone. I think it's ever put me off from using wood now.

Actually i just rememebered an even worse one i had on the 1.7.3, which was the first few days of settling in. First off the original spawn made it very difficult to find any of the places i wanted to build at. I started on a tree top....
First I pretty much gathered stuff for the first base. Found a nice lake with a pumpkin patch near it. Landmark, or suppose to be. made a hole for the night and wandered off to gather a bit more... I was pretty far and could not find my way back before night fall, and it hit rather quickly, like it was mid day and started raining. Since i barely knew where that base was i didn't find my way back, as i was too busy dodging arrows and avoiding creepers. It was from this i found out i could easily kill the creepers in deep water...
I believe once that 1st night I exploded a couple times. Tried to find my stuff from the "original spawn". This proved to be a bit difficult but managed each time to get most of the important stuff back. I actually decided to build near a mountain a little bit out of cobble, thinking since I could not find my first base i would at least find this one...>< didn't get many of the walls up before i had to run a bit to keep the creepers from destroying it... I lost sight of that 2nd base...>< circled around and blew up again, this time in one of the rivers or what looked like one. It just so happens that stuff was easy to recover, not that there was much to, since i actually did make a chest and put most of the valuables in the 2nd base.
Anyway it just happen to be around the corner from spawn, which made that pretty easy. The one thing from spawn i always noticed was sugarcane and well that was the only landmark i was able to see in the rain.headed for it and built up with a lot of dirt a kind of highrise shelter on the side of a cliff over looking the water... Yes it had a roof but only 1 wall out, and the roof had an awning, so if things were to spawn above they would fall into this 2x4 enclave that was at least 10 blocks off the ground hugging a mountain next to one of the rivers. Waiting out that night was the worst... I had to wait 2 full days before the rain would let up. I could tell because day night when raining has a slight color darkness change. At least i had a few torches to keep me company and that annoying cow swiming in the water below, as well a sheep...O_o
There was not much to that, but basically from this point I despise the amount of rain I always seem to have or stuck with when creating a map or just begining...>< Still have the map, as i did eventually get settled in after the rain. Ironically enough it took forever to find the 2nd base.. I made a 3rd base, or hole before i finally found the original one. Funny thing is all three are pretty close together. The 3rd one is more hidden than the other two, as it happens to be a door in the side of a mountain below trees half covering the entrance...><
On that map also i decided to make an underground base under the surface of the water going almost all way to bedrock. 17x18 area when you go below the lake... That is pretty much where i left off and haven't played it since the new update...lol
