I have a world that I have put a lot of time into. I haven't even used any of the duplication glitches because I didn't want to cheat. But, after installing the update, it says created in Creative Mode even though this world has never been in Creative mode. Any way to fix it?

do you have host privileges enabled if so then thats why but if not then i dont know
I know if you save your world in creative mode, or with host privileges on, you can't revert back. The world will have achievements and leader boards permanently disabled. Maybe this change is reflected by switching the “created” status.

You can revert back, just select Survival, however as you said, leaderboards and achievements will be disabled. However, what OP has stated is clearly a glitch.
I don’t think this is a glitch. I loaded a legit survival, saved the game. Exited out and re-hosted with host privies on, and again saved. The “created in” status switched to creative and justifiably so. With host privies on or playing with creative on, this world can no longer legitimately claim to have been created in “survival” mode. That’s forfeited by what ever was done with “cheat mode” activated, even if the player only looked around. If there's no way to distinguish between a legit 100% survivial world and those who played mosly on creative and then switched it on later. Achivements would be extremely easy, and the leader boards would be rendered pointless.
