If you are, that may change in the next update of 1.2.3. They'll be switch over to the ANVIL world generation which raised the build limit from 128 to 256 on the PC.
Everything that was in 1.8 on the PC is in our 1.8 except XP, which was useless without Enchanting, and Craftable Pumpkin Seeds. It's going to be added in a later update.

Indeed. Other than that, the only thing they've been doing from the PC updates is adding extras and bringing a lot of stuff forward. Poor ol' 4J just can't catch a break. =/

Yeah, I really do feel sorry for them. People accuse them of everything under the sun constantly. I could never be a game dev.

Flying limit seems like it's really high to me, so high you pass over the atmosphere.
Building limit will hopefully be increased with the 1.2.3 update, but 4J has been known to remove things..

I would assume it's capped so low on the Xbox 360 because it wouldn't be able to handle that large of a space.
That and the view distance only goes so far anyway, so it would be kinda pointless...O_o
