So the 1.8.2 update was a nice improvement. I've been waiting forever for it since I also play PC from time to time. I made a new world, picked a nice big cave and started to build. First I got my base established then went and made a wheat farm. Made my mob trap then found some melon seeds and made an semi-auto melon farm. Then I made slime farm and a tree farm. Now I just finished a Etho style storage room and now I have nothing else to do in my survival world. I mean i could do a little cleaning up and polishing off but then what?
I feel like 4J shouldn't just put together a giant update and make us wait 3-5 months for it. They should break off from the PC style updates and just pick one thing like enchanting and make one update for enchanting and all the necessary additions required for it. Then make an update for nether fortresses and blazes and all the required additions for those things too and so on and so on. It would shut up all the whiny impatient people out there and keep the advanced XBL minecrafters out there like myself entertained.
If what has been floating around the last few months is true, 4J only has a limited amount of free updates. If that is true, that means they only have a few updates where Microsoft doesn't charge them $40,000 to put the update out. Once that goes away, it'll cost them $40,000 every time they update the game.
Definitely wouldn't want them piecing out smaller updates. They'd go bankrupt.

No offense but it sounds like a lack of imagination or creativity. If that's all you've built, I can understand why you're bored.
And then when you get those things you'll say the same thing.
What now?
I enchanted everything i have now what?
I killed 60000 blazes now what?
You need to look at it like this.
If you feel like you've ran out of things to do
I can bet you i can make 100 things to do for you before 5 am which is 2hrs for me
but remember its not minecraft. its minecraft xbox 360 edition and their trying to steer away from the style in which they had when they started minecraft pc. i believe they expected the response they got from xboxers and their interest in minecraft. and was ready to embrace it. or it was overwhelming and that dominoed into a cluster of ideas. but i really love minecraft and if you respect something/someone you would also respect their agenda. its like kissing a virgin for her first time then asking when shes gunna give it up.

So your out of stuff to do in a survival world mhm, maybe start adding onto your house now; expand and conquer.
The point to this game is...well absolutely nothing. You build until you can not build anymore. My definition of that is pretty much building till I am satisfied, if it looks off then it deserves a face lift. I have never run out of things to build in my survival world. I have run out of new ideas but I just work on other stuff until something fresh pops in the mind.
I know I got my $20 worth. More so then the $26 I have wasted on the pc version...

mustache is right the possibilities are as endless as your imagination and if you havent done much in a game like minecraft then your imagination must be somewhat lacking no offense
