I think if eating raw mushrooms in minecraft did this, it would add random funny things you could see. The normal would look different, and even mining would be fun or scarey depending on which mushroom you ate. Trees and land could get slight changes and enemies too, here's an example. You eat some, and go for a walk, whoa that's that's one nice looking giant ice cream pool maybe i'll dive in.. You have been killed by lava.. Wait what? Even enemies could look a little different while doing this, chickens might look like something dangerous while a creepy looks like a chest full of loot, it would add many funny surprises to the game if you could do this. You know how boring mining for long periods gets, this is the cure to make even digging holes exciting.
OP: They do have a PC mod similar to the feature you suggested. I don't remember what it's called, probably TrippyCraft or something like that. While it's impossible to emulate a hallucinogenic experience in a videogame, I would still like to see this feature. Sure it doesn't necessarily help out the user in terms of gameplay, but it's just a fun little extra.
I been waiting for months now to finally be able to shoot up some heroin in minecraft. I think it would be great and I'll even make my own rehab center for when I want to stop. Then sometimes your arm will get infected and you will have to do it in your forehead. Except don't use meatboys skin because he just injects it in empy space where a head should be (bad programming). Then you vomit from withdrawl after 4J forgets to make a Opiete spawner and possibly induce a death causing seizure. This is what I want and if you don't like it your a straight idiot!!
If you see that video and don't at least grin from it, you are lacking a sense of humor. Laughing has been proven to make us live longer, if your personality is the person that rarely laughs, is hard to make laugh, or just sticks to only thinking certain things are funny while calling other peoples funny things not funny, then you are just lame and I am sorry that you will live shorter than people that have a good time and try to get people laughing. The poll is pretty much explaining what the individual is thinking when they vote, obviosly if you didn't think the topic was funny, then you probably are thinking you would hate if it happened, and you probably hate laughter if you act so serious all the time. I apologize to anyone who thought if seemed like a drug thing, but as said before since it wouldn't actually be mind altering, it wouldn't be a drug. Honestly before I played minecraft I heard about mooshrooms, and I literally thought the mushrooms on them would be like this, since cow and shroom made me think that's what it was,(because shrooms like this grow on cow crap). Since finding out this was not the case, I just wondered if anyone else ever thought of the idea or would like it. Sorry if anyones fingers are sore now from all the typing :b
