so. im building a nether fortress. to protect me from ghast blasts. they fly over my walls and keep pelting me with fire balls. im dodging them left and right frantically building walls. i turn around ready to head out and refill my cobblestone when i notice my nether portal is deactivated... googled it turns out ghast blasts can disconnect them. had no idea. so im now stuck in the nether with no way out.

if anyone would be willing to go reactivate my nether portal by my house that would be fantastic. if i cant get one of my friends to do it.

yea i had no idea. i was just building a nether fortress to mine glowstone and netherack safely.

unfortunetly i cant play split screen

save the game and go into creative then get a flint and steel.

Lol, oops. I got stuck with my friend in the Nether once with my friend on the outside. Luckily he made it through a horde of enemeis to reactivate the portal.

i got stuck in the nether 1 time haha. i had to have a friend come get us.. but yeah, keep a chest of obsidian and a few flint/steels in the nether just in case.

Just stand on the portal and halt until it shoots at you, jump out of the way and the same blast that killed the portal will revive it

Try lighting the portal with lava if you have a bucket .



(Link may or may not work. I got it from an ipad and youtube was on the mobile version I just removed the m. that was in front of it . If it does to work just look up how to light a portal with lava)

no bucket. yea i tried just out of curiosity to se if a ghast blast would re light it. damn things couldnt ht the broad side of a nether portal. it was kind of pathetic. i stood still for a bt just to tuant them. they shot 3 times at me standing in the center of th neter portal and missed me and the portal entirely every time. lol. stupid floaty nether squids.

i jsut ended up killing myself. still need to reengage the portal i assume. dortunetly i made sure i didnt hae any valuables on my when i wnt in to the nether so i only lost some chicken and some nether rack.

very weird. when i went through my over world portal it just generated a new nether portal in close proximity to the old on.

yea that will happen if the portal collapses, I had up to 9 portals one time
