I think this skin pack sounds pretty cool. Not only is it a huge collaboration, but we get to force Microsoft to give up money!
Lighting updates. Pig snout protrusion. Skeletons with full sized bows. Rain edges.
That's just from 1.8.2.
1. Generally, the dev pays Microsoft a set amount to release the content, then the dev receives all the revenue from sales. I suppose they could've worked out a deal with MS since it's a charity... but... This is Microsoft we're talking about here! xD They would drive a steamroller through a path full of baby seals if there was a dollar at the end of the road.
2. What I really meant to say was least significant add-on, which I was kind of getting at in the second sentence. Although it could still be argued that it's the least significant feature overall. 3D snouts effect all pigs, just as the bow effects all skeletons. I'm not sure if other profiles on the same Xbox as someone who purchased a skin pack can use them. But, even if they can, one skin pack could only effect the appearance of 4 players at one time.

They've already said Microsoft isnt seeing a penny from this skin pack.
Furthermore I dought Microsoft would spend the money to buy a steamroller to get that dollar since the steam roller would cost way more to rent than that one dollar, profits son.
Lets not even get into how all the Microsoft employees are going to fit into a single steamroller, even if they bought enough steamrollers you still run into the non-profitable problem.

Yeah, I just found out yesterday that 4J, Mojang, and Microsoft were all together in this charity thing.
That other thing is what we call a figure of speech, or exaggeration. I'm just saying MS cares more about money than anything else. All corporations are like this, even most businesses in general. MS wouldn't even be giving their share to charity if it wasn't to boost their public image.
