I started a new world and can't eat equipped food. I deleted the game, update, saves, and skins. I re downloaded all of it and started a new world. Now I have no option to eat. Any ideas? I am not in tutorial mode.
This bug is confirmed, ^op^ Raeimus joined my game - i ate cooked porkchop, he could not - before & after reinstalling his game. he can't eat. I'm not in creative mode, i'm in survival just like the people who do not have pigs, cows, chickens in there new world after the update, add this one to the list. my game has no restrictions just invite.
Raeimus has a Xbox V1 2005, i have a slim 2011 should not make a diffrence right?
Frustrating is the word I'd use. At first the option to eat was there but I couldn't eat equipped food. I moved food around to every slot yet all I could do was swing it despite holding down the trigger while looking skyward. My hunger bar kept getting lower and lower to the point where my health was dropping. Eventually i died. Reloaded the save a couple of times with the same end result. This was a new world not a preexisting save. Second time around, after my first delete and re-install, I completely lost the ability to eat. I have food equipped but no LT option. Third time around I was finally able to eat an apple.
Honestly I'm done. I started playing because of my son and friends. It was an easy game to play and an enjoyable way to spend some extra time. After 2 months close to a million total mined blocks, 10,000 plus kills, and an exquisite mansion island built out of obsidian and clay bricks, which I painstakingly mapped out in 3D using graph paper, I have no desire to do it again. I can do without sprinting, flying, creative mode, and 99% of the crap that was in the update. All I was looking forward to was trapping (and keeping animals) and pumpkin seeds (which apparently you still can't make). I'll have Halo 4 and Black Op's II to keep me occupied in a couple of weeks.
