Since 1.8.2 came out ive been working on replicating something i saw on the wiki from PC minecraft that i havent seen anyone do on the xbox edition, A 20x20 quarry to bedrock with all the ores left in place. It is now finished and here are the results.
I couldn't do this.... My OCD would kick in and I would have to mine all of it out in that 20x20. And if I encountered a cave, I would have to make the grid large enough to fit it. 0_0
in comparison, how many normal blocks did you mine ?
I didnt count them at the i was mining and ive already used alot of them building but i still have 6 double chests full of cobble/gravel and dirt left right now so if my numbers are correct you should be looking at 20,000+ normal blocks.

A few caves and i somehow ended up quarrying thru what is probably my worlds only stronghold, What are the chances?
EDIT: There are a total of 18 diamonds the others are obstructed from view.
