When they add hardcore mode in the next update, will it only be in single player, or will it be multiplayer also. I just don't see how it can work in multiplayer.
I personally think they could have a system in place where when you spawn in a hardcore game you go into this sort of spectator mode. Maybe work it out like if you die you spawn in again but can't mine blocks or anything, and you could be invisible. That could solve the host problem

To keep it simple to implement, your second spawn could drop you into a 4 layer think Obsidian room.
If you can be bothered digging by hand for more than 16 minutes to get out, you would deserve a second chance in my opinion.
World would have to be reset once everyone was finished though.
That is a great way to do that. I like your outlook on it. lol There are many ways that this could be implemented. Technically though couldn't you get a few friends together and play on hard and just have your buds not do anything once they respawn?

On the Xbox 360 Edition, I'm guessing they might work out some way of kicking people from the world for a while or something.
