There's 2 strongholds in the Tutorial World. The first one is pretty easy to find. (look behind where you spawn)
The second one is tricky you need to go behind the cliffs where the 1st strong hold is. Under an over hang dig down (or if in creative, tnt your way down) and you will eventually reach the stronghold.
Actually no.... that was hand made by 4J i would assume. And that may have the blocks used in strongholds, but strongholds don't use glowstone, and are not as clean cut usually as that one is.
I am refering to the one behind you in tutorial world...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
you sure you weren't in a mineshaft ? Apart from library there's hardly any wood in strongholds.
Ah yes you are correct. I just looked up pictures of a stronghold, then mineshaft, and I was most definitely in a mineshaft. Now I really wanna come across a stronghold! They look pretty sweet. New update and I just assumed I knew what I came across. Thanks for informing the uninformed.
Step 1: Get your seed number
Step 2: Start a new world using said seed number and enter creative.
Step 3: Start playing with TnT and enjoy! I went around in a grid about every 100 blocks, dug to bedrock and filled the hole with TnT. If you have a stronghold it should only take you an hour or so to find it. Much less then scouring the forums for an answer that isn't here.
P.S. The X-ray machine doesn't work well for finding strongholds
Even this TnT method is sketchy. I tried it and just spent 45min making large holes that lead to bedrock on my map. I was able to do it like 30 plus times and I still didn't even cover an eighth of my map. This method is obviously quicker than just mining on survival but don't get your hopes up trying it, you would have to be extremely lucky to find a stronghold within the first hour.
I just wish 4j and mojang would do a better job in explaining this sort of stuff. I'm not complaining, the update and game is great. It's just we get stuck with problems like this, where we don't have a sufficient amount of information on one of the biggest additions to the game so far. I'm just saying I think things like where the stronghold's usually spawn and the average size, etc should be released to us. Maybe the creators just don't have the verve, i don't know.

People's opinions on how much information 4J should have put into things vary quite a bit. I was recently on a thread about the tutorial where a poster basically said that the info they were putting in the crafting menu already was destroying the "sense of adventure" of the game. I think the idea about not officially releasing a pattern for stronghold generation is that some things in the game are supposed to be hard to find and people are supposed to just explore and dig and dig and dig until they find them. There will, no doubt, be players with YouTube accounts who will be posting videos with various tips and hints on finding such things... eventually.

Yes, of course people's opinions vary. And yeah, I understand what you are saying in the sense that not releasing an official pattern for strongholds makes it more of a challenge. But even if they released stronghold patterns they would still be difficult to find. Especially since there is only 1 stronghold per world; (this seems to be more confirmed than any other number) even if they gave you information like what levels they are usually found at, it would still be difficult to find. And people who actually think that the "sense of adventure" is being destroyed simply because of the information in the crafting menu - well that's just hilarious and ridiculous. If people actually find that a problem then they can suck it up, because that is the silliest thing to complain about.

I agree with you (especially about how silly it is to complain about the there being too much instruction in a tutorial). However, I do think that at least some of the info on the Wiki (if not the vast majority of it) relative to the PC wasn't put there by Mojang, but instead was contributed by players who just figured out how things worked as they played. In all likelihood, such details will emerge over time as the various avid XBox players get it all figured out too. Until then, we just have to muddle about and I'd be very surprise if 4J did anything official on it. Dont get me wrong - I'd welcome the info if they did, but I just don't think they will.

Yes, true about the info on the Minecraft wiki. And yeah, you're probably right. In time everything will be figured out regardless of if Mojang provided it or not.
Yes, actually, I did try this a few days ago using the exact same link you provided. The only problem is that the maps on Xbox are much smaller than the PC maps, so you can't really go to the exact coordinates.
I tried with a couple of the coordinates that they gave me for my seed but it just wouldn't work, I found myself, predictably, running into the edge of the map.
Maybe, just maybe, you could take half of the coordinate and use it a reference to the Xbox world, but that's still a longshot.
There are only three strongholds in a entire PC map so I'm not sure how many are in the xbox version

Meh...lol. I was hoping this would translate like the slime finder page did. I'll keep using the xray machine and hope that one of my strongholds has a lit up library
New video showcasing the new seed I found with a Stronghold near the spawn. I don't know if the way it is located is common, but it seems like I may be starting to find a pattern. Let me know what you folks think.

Alright here is a question. Have any of you found a fully created stronghold? What I mean is one that is complete, not in pieces with water and lava flowing in and making a huge mess. Also I need a Blue Print for a Stronghold. I keep finding ones sort of okay, but there is so much missing and i just dont know how to rebuild it. I feel like I am playing with legos or Knex's and I have about 75% of the building done, but its missing random pieces all over and there is no picture of what it looks like.
Yeah I have had that happen too. I got a stronghold that was about 27x12x12 and then looked and looked and finally found a huge one I think its like 108x80ishx40. I keep getting lost.
The way I think strongholds generate, at least in this version, are room by room... So basically it is in pieces anyway. like the dungeon cell area which I have seen repeated a few times in one i explored. Sure there was a ravine going through the lower levels of it, but this is a stronghold that goes from the surface almost all the way down to bedrock... at least to level 12. many of the rooms were broken by that ravine or mineshafts, if not some cave that stretched off to one side.
At least the library was mostly in tact... Only one wall actually had the upper half missing ... You can definitely see duplication throughout the stronghold if you have seen a large one. many of the rooms do tend to get you lost in that case, since quite a few look exactly the same.
If you think these are confusing, wait till the nether fortresses come about... That will probably be just as confusing, but at least those you would probably be able to find a bit easier since the nether is quite smaller than the overworld...lol
The one I have explored, getting back to the stronghold, seemed to corridor out almost like how the mineshafts do. Sure stairs lead to rooms, but also lead to dead ends too. Like the mineshafts in quite a few instances... So in a way it looks like a winchester house... I think that is what it is called. Don't quite remember the exact name of the famous house here in the us that the builder/owner just kept adding and adding to the house even if the stairwells dead end at least it was additions. A crazy look similar to a man made labyrinth.
