alright. Since creative has come out, alot of people have been talking about their future projects. And i have seen alot of people post that they are creating a city. Well, basicly if you build like this, just stop now.
A majority of the stuff ive seen on the xbox city wise is crap. If you are going to build a city, learn some building skills, because im building a new city in superflat aswell, and i aim to make it the best (in terms of realism that is). So anyways, good luck with all future projects, and tomorow, i am posting pics of my new city which ive had for 3 days now, so i hope you like it.
How can a game about stacking cubes have anything to do with skill, more based around free time i'd say. Not everyone can be joined at the hip to a video game all day. I get bored when I try large builds, i've no idea how you all do such massive projects without getting a stroke or something..

yeah i know, im not really saying that mine will be better, thats why i put best (more realistic) but yeah ive seen maybe 10 on here and only 4 that i know of are actualy decent, the rest could use some work.

I agree, i love minecraft, but to spend that much time one it knowing that I could be playing (insert hot new video-game flavor of the month here) keeps me from investing in overly-large projects like this. Minecraft is great, but I got a siren to get through true vault-hunter mode.
@OP: How are you gonna gloat before you've even showed anything? That is in poor taste my good sir.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Without the skin... Beneath the storm... Under these tears...The walls came down
this is the interior (part of the lobby) of my hotel. there is also a pool room, and a desk and a garden display in glass
im even doing the small details (notice the heli-pad and air conditioners..
3 days, there are 2 more buildings not pictured. the grey 1 straight in pic is an office building, floors are in, but im gong to go all out with interior (cubicals, offices, storage rooms, meeting rooms, etc.) all buildings interiors are going to be nice hopefully.
Best ever greatest of all time, A-1, gold standard, top notch. That was my review of the opening post. As for the city, I guess it looks decent so far.
Looking back, I think I misread. I thought you were basically laying claim to the idea, but I know believe you're just telling everyone that it's overdone.

yes, that is another way to put it. the idea is usually overdone, but people give up quick. i have 1 city i spent 2 months on, so lol, i never gave up

See ya.
XD i hope so too, from what i have, it looks pretty realistic. also, the pics of the generic skyscrapers wouldnt post, so the spoiler is empty.
yeah, i will XD and by how it looks now, it most likley wont.
patience. Thats how we do it XD
lol, builds are quick though. im always busy, but it takes maybe 1-2 hours to do a full building. my clock tower took 2.5 hours 1 day.

XD
that suoer tall square building is coming down today. i have a new shape planned.
From the later post I can determine that you think that a modern city build is the most original thing ever...
what makes you think that?>
They're not really like that in real life.
