So I download this update and my chests went ass backwards and are sticking through walls opening up weird and not letting me walk in if there 1 block behind another...... doesnt make sense
You can manually update the chests. Stick a torch next to the chest and it will update and become normal somewhat. They will stay rotated the way they changed oddly though.
or you can just break the chests and fix them that way, what I had to do before my worlds corrupted.
My survival world I had the corruption on was for some unknown reason.
Some have said because of the signs and the duplication glitch but I had neither in my survival world. I did not duplicate on that world so I honestly have no idea how it was corrupted.
Both the backup and original were corrupted so I just deleted every last saved world and started over.
Not as bad as my tunnel across the map lined with chest, over a thousand chest all turned in the wrong way, I had a panic attack since I have OCD.
I think that would get on anyones nerves having that many chests do that...O_O
Even me and I don't have a true OCD, just like things a bit organized as someone put. Although quite a few things like this bother me to some degree. Wouldn't be bad if was 1 or 2 but that many would make me not play for a day, or at least that world...until i get the nerve enough to actually go and reset each chest...
Although double chests are odd when relighting... which makes matters worse. Single chest yeah they will be placed or look in a specific direction. However double chests will do the same, but will show differently if they were not aligned the same way. Half seen but not touchable, and the other half not seen but still touchable... Very odd behavior if you ask me. So in the end breaking chests is the only way to reset to the position that was originally...><
