So, Raptr has been telling me since the update I've been playing Minecraft for each day, 24 hours. 19 hours. 32 hours. and it just goes on. When will I ever stop playing Minecraft!? Haha, Never! Though I did stop and play some MW3 and Worms 2 with a few friends. But those same friends play MC with me too. haha.
If you have Raptr was does it say for you? If you don't, then guess the hours you've played MC since the update.
Currently I can't sleep and it's 3AM. So I'm on the computer and watching Futurama on Netflix.
Ive been like this since May, but since the update Its out of my system, Im so miffed I will have to start again when the next update comes out. Its like all my time since May has been wasted.
I'm not really miffed about anything, but I'm pretty sure a lot of it is out of my system as well. I got a chance to play a bit on the weekend and it just didn't seem to be as much fun as it was before the update. Mining just feels more like a chore now with all the shear drops; and I'm missing having the passive mobs around. I haven't even wanted to try to go into my main build world to face the chore (and it does seem like a chore) of resetting all my chests and removing all the signs to avoid the XBox freezing. The chests won't look right anyway, since they're smaller than before. As a result, I'm finding that I just done want to even turn the XBox on right now. Off to resurrect some of my other hobbies.
Exactly. All im doing is hanging round here argueing with people who dont have problems or dont care about quality, you know the 'Yes men sycophants'. and 4JSteve.
I've enjoyed talking to the people on this forum (even when it's felt a little like arguing); but without really wanting to play the game as much now, I'm finding I have less and less to add to a lot of the topics, so my frequency of posting is definitely going down. It's not really a bad thing since I'm doing starting doing other things with my free time... getting a life, so to speak.
Ironically, I'm sort of glad that Mojang and 4J decided to start the XBox port with 1.6 and that the 1.8.2 update was so slow in coming, since it gave me an opportunity to play the 1.7.3 version for most of the summer and fall. So far, I think it was the best of Minecraft.
We'll see whether the eventual arrival of 1.2.3 will respark my interest; but I haven't found much about 1.8.2 that I really love. I had anticipated enjoying creative mode; but we lost a few things that creative mode just doesn't replace and that I guess I loved more than I thought I did (the old cave systems where the underground wasn't quite so cut apart and, even moreso, all the passive animals running about).
The day MCXBLA released... ohhhh man. I recently moved, was unemployed, and didn't have a car. I must've played 6 - 8 hours every day, minus weekends. That's probably the main reason it took me so long to find a job.
But now.. meh. Sometimes I'll play for 2 or 3 hours, ignore it for a day or two, then repeat. It doesn't even have anything to do with the update. Honestly, since the update, I think the game is better than ever. I just don't feel like playing as often anymore. Plus most of my free time is spent here on the forum.
I hang more here than the game itself. I get kind of bored playing myself so I head to the forums. But I play a LOT when I play with my friends Minecraft.
The day 1.8 came out, I pulled an all nighter the night before for it, and I played it from the moment it came out to maybe midnight the next day. So around 18 hours straight.

Lets see...the day the update came out my girlfriend left for work at 2:30 and I starting playing at roughly 2:31! I even asked her to see if she can pickup a few extra hours but no dice! So safe to say I get to play at around 8 hour clips! LOL!

interesting post. I love these types of lists, I will be sure to check mine,
your hours clocked is mind boggling.
I once asked the owner of out local mom & pop video store to pull up and print out the entire list of every item purchased /rented under my acct #.
25 pg list.
PS: I had to walk him through the "print" options on his bootleg/ no name spreadsheet program.
ima going to upload that somewhere.
sorry to derail this post.
