I had a really weird thing happen to me the other day. I had just heard that the 1.8.1 update had come out. I go to my Xbox and load up Minecraft and the update installs. I made a superflat world to test a few things and nothing went wrong in there. But then I made a survival world. When the world loaded and I got the achievement for taming 5 wolves. The thing is though, I've only ever tamed one wolf and haven't seen any more while I've had enough bones to tame it with.

Has anyone else had this? Or am I the only one?

I had this happen as well but I think I was on my fourth wolf or something when i tamed mine in the 1.8 and was probably high as balls when I tamed the last four so i probably didn't remember.

Does it count wolfs from previous updates?

I had this happen right when I spawned in my world. I've only ever tamed one wolf on MCXBLA and that was on my old world. Bug or not, I'd take those free points!!

It's not about taming wolves to get the achievement. It's the fact that I got the achievement without taming five wolves.

Or just be awesome and tame one and make the game kneel before you and just give you the achievement 20% done.

Yep, this is a known bug.

I checked that list earlier. Guess I did't see it because I just skimmed through it. But at least I didn't have to go thorough the trouble if finding wolves now
