Would it be possible to upload pics/screenshots from minecraft to this forum, as well as facebook? Maybe in another update?
I for one do not use facebook, never have, never will. But, I like reading through the forums etc. I would like to upload pics for people to see, but feel left out because I dont use facebook.
Also, it would get more people using these forums, cause I don't think that many minecraft players are aware of them.

While your suggestion has some merit, it would be near impossible for these forums to host pictures as well as maintaining our threads, posts, profiles, etc. Hosting photos and other media require memory space. A lot of memory. And servers aren't cheap to purchase or maintain.
On the other hand, your suggestion made me think of something. I'd like to choose where my screenshots get uploaded to. It's likely we have to use FaceBook due to a contractual thing, but it would be nice to be able use other social networking or picture sharing sites.

Even this. Just an option to choose where to, so that we can show off our creations. I don't use facebook cause I don't like to spread my information and actions over the net. It's my life at the end of the day. At least on here, I'm kinda anonymous.

I agree. I wouldn't even be on FaceBook if it weren't for the teenagers and my parental rules. There are ways to join FB without giving up too much information, but it's hard since there is so much "required" it's ridiculous. FB is information hungry because of marketing and their contracts with advertising. I still believe FB has been sharing more information than they admit to, but i have no actual proof. Do you have a friend with a FB who can play multiplayer with you, take screenshots, and then share them with you via email? That may be a work around for you. At least for now. I don't see us having a choice anytime soon though. FB and Microsoft seem to be pretty good bedfellows.

No, people I know that have FB don't play MC, at least not online. Guess I'll have to wait. Aside from the info thing though, there have been so many issues with FB, Y'know, the ones that are all over the news. Like the one where a mum found out about a son/daughter death via FB before the police told her. (Shocking and sadening.) All down to $$$$ I guess
