Is it just me, or are you not able to climb vines in the 1.8.2 update?

yeah, I can't either. And that was why I was looking forward to vines. :'(

Ok, because I jumped into a ravine and tried to catch myself on a vine. Also when will jungle biomes be added to the game

Well atleast they still look cool . I was also hoping you would be able to use them like ladders .

It's the best way to get into a ravine very fast after you spawn into a world .

I was going to make my own jungle tree and make a tree house in it, lol.

So in what update will we be able to climb them

I get so confused by the numbers. . Surely, it should start with beta 1.0.0 then lead upto 1.8.2 and onwards? I've seent '1.2.*' flying around aswell, which comes out after 1.8.2. . . but before 1.0.0? I'm too confused now.

It goes back to 1.0.0 each development stage. Beta started at 1.0.0, and went up to 1.8.2. When Minecraft was officially "released" the version number was reset to 1.0.0. We are on BETA 1.8.2. The PC is currently on RELEASE 1.3.2 (Will be 1.4 in 3 days).
