In the world i just started yesterday because of the update my main base is going to be a large hole in the ground, almost like a "bowl." But a large area of the base is surrounded by water so i decided do do part of the walls of glass panes so i need to know the best way to clear out water source blocks. I've done some underwater buildings before and i just basically built a glass room and then filled it up with dirt blocks but im hoping theres a much better way.
This is a picture of the frame of my new base, as you can see i have a very large area that has water which will need to be removed. If you are wondering the circumference of my base its 100 blocks even.
