I have only one single sheep on my complete map. As such I did kill anything else in the hope to get some other sheeps. But all the time the only animals which respawn all the time are wolves. I killed about 50 or more of them in the last two hours. I can't find any other animals respawning, except this stupid wolves. There seems to be a realy bad bug in this version if realy only wolves are respawning. This will destroy my fun completly!!!
4J please fix this asap. This way the game makes no fun anymore. :-(
I have searched the comlete map more than one time. I was only walking around the last two or three hours, but all I find are wolves. Whenever I kell them all, new ones are coming, but no other animal.
I have pigs, sheep, and cows spawning in my world along with wolves. Doesn't seem broken to me.
If you live in or near a forest, that is one of only two places Wolves now spawn. They now only spawn in Forests and Taiga biomes. So you will see them a lot there.
Is it an old map or a new generated 1.8 one? I use an old map. Did you kill all of them already and you got them repawned back? I did kill all animals in the hope to get new sheeps, but only wolves are respawning. Someting is broken! Before the patch I had many, many sheeps on my world , but now absolutly nothing nothing anymore.
This has been happening to others as well. Only wolves spawn in my map. This is an approximate statistics of how much I have seen mobs in the past 5 days:
Pigs: 5
Cows: 10
Sheep: 3
Chicken: 2
Wolves: 50
yea ive seen a lot of wolves. becuase its rarer for animals to spawn and they dont de spawn so it may be your in a wolf spawn area. and you need to find the spawn area for other animals. also what i do is save and exit out in an area then come back to see if any other animals are around. seems to work. ive managd to trap 2 sheep. and a cow. along with dozens of chikens. and a fw wolves.
you might also try aming all of the wolvs then killing them. or at least some of them.

i did notice a lot more wolves spawning and a lot less of everything else, i didnt think anything of it though because i havent needed animals for anything yet in my new world. i had a friend in my game today befriend something over 15 wolves in like 5 minutes. before you'd be lucky to get 5 in half an hour...
im having this same problem with my map i just started im using mods and ik its one of the mods causing the problem but i dont have a freaking clue which one could be causing this could some 1 give me a list of mods that can cause this thx

wolf spawn rate should go -50%
before the update a lot of people cant find wolf.
