Well ive managed to trap one sheep in a fence and cannot lure anymore into it. Ive collected wool from it one time n its never grown more. Now there are 10 wolves surrounding the pen that refuse to leave, ive killed them out a few times but they just keep coming back n stalking my poor sheep lol. What can i do and is there a way to lure more sheep. Ive tried holding wheat but never seen any option to do anything with it. Help would be much appreciated thanks.
At the moment it looks as only wolves are respawning at all. I have killed all animals I have found as I'm missing sheeps. But for my suprise all the time only wolves are respawning and no other animals. In the last 3 hours I have killed about 50 or more wolves, and all the time wolve are respawning again, but no other animal!!! This looks like a realy bad bug.

Yeah, same here. In the world I started after the update, its like there are just neverending wolves everywhere. Luckily I'm not having the problem some people are having with no other mobs spawning. :/
Hard to believe that as long as we waited on this update and after at least 2 weeks of checking for bugs by microsoft that something as important as animal spawning is so bugged. So, here guys now you have a hunger meter but wait.. good luck finding animals to kill to refill it!! Looks like its fishing and shroom stew for me n no carpet in my house. Was excited to finally be able to farm sheep after this update and of course something has to be broken. Disappointed, but thanks for all the replies nonetheless. BTW $80 million dollars made one would think you could hire some better testers.. ok im done ranting now lol.

So a none despawning sheep is pretty much just cosmetic.
edit: try taming the wolves then relocating them. Since they don't despawn they shouldn't respawn unless they die. just a guess though
