Okay, i just stated playing on the 1.8.2 xbox update and im trying to find a stronghold, i have found everything else except a stronghold.
so im wondering is there any tips on finding strongholds, or is there a seed out there that can help me find one,(i have found 2 on the pc before but not on xbox yet)

They're easy to find using the xray glitch. I have found a few just by noticing the library. I go to creative, dig a 1x1 hole half way to bedrock, then dig a 1x4 vertical shaft in a wall and place a sticky piston facing down and a tnt under it. Put the lever next to piston in the shaft you entered and stand under the tnt, then just peak out and flip the switch. You shouldn't have any problem finding one or an abandon mineshaft.
They really are pointless though, unless you plan to turn it into a house.
I found one by doing the X-ray glitch with a TNT a lever and a piston go around underground and look around for the stone brick works better if your in creative because blocks are easier to break look around villages
