Slime chunks are everywhere in the world, including super flat worlds. Since the ground level is just above bedrock, slimes will spawn in their appropriate chunks if the diffucilty is not on peaceful.

yup, but luckily in later patches (1.3.1) they fixed this issue and limited their spawns on superflat!
Here's the wiki list that shows it. I'm hoping they fix that issue soon and bring it forward to 1.9 . . . or is it gonna be 1.0.0 for the 360 edition too? How are they handling patch numbering anyway?
