Seed Name: Oprah
Seed #: idk can't find it now on new update.


This map is great. 98% ocean
3 small-medium sized land masses
and 3 or 4 tiny islands.

Great for survival. the only thing i can recommend is generate structures.
1 island has a lot of trees but once they are gone it might get kinda scarce. make sure to plant saplings.

I've found several things. I figured I would pass the locations along incase anyone would like to try out the map on survival. I generally find the items the dig straight up to ensure safety. it sucks to start diggin down and fall into lava or whatever
so most of these locations are pretty freakin safe.

u will fall into a cave 1st then a stondhold on the way down. be fast and careful.
but beware LAVA LAVA LAVA. all around so make sure you watch what your doing.

Upvote from me! Thanks for posting this up. I've been looking for a seed like this. Since they made animals not despawn it's been a pain. Now I just need to delete a few islands and I can build my passive mob grinder again. Thanks again this must have taken a while to do.

the stronghold have melon seeds X3?

He said its Oprah. My only question is what would compel them to have used that in the first place...

Figures the Oprah seed would be mostly water, she's all washed up anyway....:)

I'll have to try this seed when I get a chance today. The only thing that might become a bit of a problem is the lack of immediate food, which has always been an issue in Survival Island type maps.

That wont work if you kill them they wont spawn back

Found a true survival island seed, you spawn dead center of the map on a small island with one tree and some tall grass, no land in view for every direction. 3173539961103507403 Try to start make a home and all the cool stuff you normally do without ever leaving the island, and play on hard mode. I only stayed on the island and did not leave to see what is far out of view but all I saw was ocean so far.

Yes they do. Not only is it in the changelog that they spawn back but my passive mob spawner in my old map still works fine. However I can't use it due to the crash bug but for the few minutes I'm In the world it works.

where can i find the actual seed number: since the update I can't find it.
this map is perfect for me. I mean yeh other maps may have a lil less land.
but the whole map is still pretty much just water.
and if u truley wanna play on survival. u will need the extra land it gives you.

Tell me when you find an all land seed with mountains hills forest small winter wonderland swamps and at least 1 village not in a desert but as well having a desert...lol

Most the maps i random generate are practically 8/10 water maps...><
